I could have sworn I asked that as simply as possible.

I realize it's a posi-rear end. I assume that it still spins both wheels.

What I was referring to was that a posi rear uses clutches to spin both sides and if it's doing the one-wheel peel action, it would be a very opportune time to get the rear rebuilt as well as the tranny.

I'll just stfu and watch the show, I guess. Laughing

Reach underneath that bitch, grab the driveshaft, try to wist it back and forth, see if it wobbles around everywhere or is tight. That would be a bitch if all this was about a u-joint about to fall out Laughing

ok so i've decided to go with a 700r4... after talking to robert i need to find a kickdown cable for the 700r4 with the bracket that goes onto the intake. also, i have a B&M shifter in it now with a 3 speed forward pattern, i understand that instead of getting a new shifter completely they make a 4 speed forward gate pattern that will work with the 700r4's and 200r4's... sound right? and with that i need a shifter cable for the 700r4.

i really want my car back this week cause im tired of driving a lexus... any help here would be greatly appreciated.

You'll need a driveshaft and a crossmember or at least to relocate your stocker more than likely.
